Untill now aluminum has been used as sound isolation in the national highways.A louver shaped panel fence has been developed since 1976. However, this project introduced the low environment load type technology that was able to have better sound performance and lower cost.

The soft three dimensional appearance is given by the rhythmical composition of aluminium stripes. This design takes advantage of the thinness and the elasticity of the material used. The "knitted" horizontal stripes are continuous, in this way the driver's sight it is not disturbed. The three dimensional knitted stripes give a perception of depth and decrease the feeling of oppression that a wall creates by enclosing a traveling space. The results are being monitored by the Highway Public Corporation.
